Ferguson left Wednes day night for Richmond, Va., to spen a while in a nose and throat in firmary in that city, doing some post graduate work in that line. Misses Ella and Ida Nicholson, of Rockingham, who had been visiting in Sanford, stopped over Monday and uesday with Mr. and Mrs. M. N. Sugg, on their return home. Col. P. H. L-aufman, of Pittsburg, Pa., accompanied by his daughter, Miss Fanny, Miss Mary Butler. W. D. Cornparette,' wife ard son and Clif ford L,aufman came in on, the early morning train Tuesday, and are now comfortably domiciled in Col.
